AI automation agency in India
DigeeSell builds lead and marketing automation for Indian businesses from Gurugram, designed around three local facts: DPDP Act consent obligations, WhatsApp as the channel customers actually reply on, and the CRMs Indian sales teams already run.
Delivered from our India office alongside SEO services in India and web design in India. The India overview shows how they connect; how we use AI sets out where people decide.
Short answer
What does an AI automation agency in India need to get right?
DigeeSell, an AI automation agency in India, builds lead automation that records DPDP Act consent at the point of collection, replies and follows up on WhatsApp through approved Business API templates, and writes into the CRM the sales team already uses, such as Zoho, LeadSquared or a spreadsheet, so nothing depends on a new tool being adopted.

What does the DPDP Act require from lead automation?
India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, treats a business collecting leads as a data fiduciary. For an automated lead flow that has practical consequences at every step.
- Notice and consent at collection — each form, ad lead form and WhatsApp opt-in states what the data is for, and consent is stored with a timestamp and the exact text shown. An automation that cannot show when and how a lead consented is not built.
- Purpose limitation — a lead captured for a home-loan enquiry is not automatically moved into an unrelated promotional sequence.
- Withdrawal — a "stop" reply on WhatsApp or an unsubscribe request removes the person from every automated sequence, not just the one they replied to.
- Processors — each tool in the chain is a processor the client is responsible for, so the list of vendors that see personal data is written down before launch.
- Retention — leads that never convert are deleted or anonymised on a schedule rather than kept indefinitely.
The DPDP Rules are still being phased in; flows are reviewed as obligations take effect. This is not legal advice, and the client's counsel makes the final call.
Why is WhatsApp Business API the centre of lead automation in India?
Indian customers often ignore email and unknown calls but reply on WhatsApp within minutes. Automation therefore starts there, through the WhatsApp Business Platform rather than a personal app on a sales phone.
- Opt-in first — business-initiated messages need recorded opt-in, which doubles as DPDP consent evidence.
- Approved templates — first messages and messages outside the 24-hour reply window must use templates Meta has approved, in English, Hindi or a regional language.
- Conversation-based charges — Meta bills per conversation category (marketing, utility, authentication, service), so a sequence is designed to keep marketing messages to the ones that earn a reply.
- Hand-off — once a lead replies with intent, the thread is assigned to a named salesperson with the full history; a bot does not keep talking past that point.
- Quality rating — high block or report rates lower a number's messaging limits, so frequency is capped and opt-outs are honoured immediately.
Which CRMs do Indian businesses run, and how does automation fit them?
Most Indian sales teams we audit run one of a short list: Zoho CRM, LeadSquared (common in education, lending and real estate), HubSpot, Salesforce in larger firms, or a shared Google Sheet with call notes. Builds fit the stack in place.
- Leads from Google, Meta, IndiaMART, JustDial, property portals and the website land in one CRM with source and campaign kept, so cost per qualified lead can be worked out per source.
- Phone numbers are normalised to +91 format and deduplicated, since the same buyer often enquires through three portals.
- Call outcomes from telecalling teams are written back as CRM stages, so reports reflect calls actually made. A lead counts as qualified only after the phone conversation set out in how we measure.
- Where the CRM is a spreadsheet, the automation writes to it reliably first; moving to a CRM is a separate decision, not a precondition.
What does automation tooling cost in India?
Running costs in India are usually dominated by per-user CRM seats and per-conversation WhatsApp charges rather than by model usage. Both are paid in INR to the vendors and scale with team size and message volume, so they are estimated from the client's actual lead and message counts during the audit.
Model usage, where a step needs it, is kept to drafting and classification on fields with personal data stripped, which keeps it a small share of the total.
Automation work is priced against a plan, not fixed packages. A free audit first maps how leads arrive, which CRM holds them and where follow-up breaks; the proposal then covers only the automations that address those gaps. WhatsApp, CRM and software charges are billed by the vendors and are separate from build fees.
Engagements start at ₹40,000 a month, and ₹60,000 where two service lines are scoped together. Published ranges for every service are on the India pricing page.

What do buyers ask before starting?
Can you automate WhatsApp follow-up for our leads?
Yes, through the WhatsApp Business Platform with recorded opt-in and Meta-approved templates. Once a lead replies with intent, a named salesperson takes over the thread.
Does the DPDP Act stop us automating lead follow-up?
No, but consent must be recorded at collection, used only for the stated purpose, and withdrawn everywhere when the person opts out. Flows are built to show that evidence.
We use LeadSquared. Do we need to switch?
No. Automations are built into the CRM you already run, including Zoho, LeadSquared, HubSpot, Salesforce or a shared sheet.
Can leads from IndiaMART and JustDial be included?
Yes. Portal leads are pulled into the same CRM, deduplicated by phone number and kept with their source so each portal can be judged separately.
